We're looking for a developer to help us maintain a desktop document translation system. The system is responsible for converting Congressional XML bill data into a format used for printing. Primary duties include the incorporation of new features, resolution of programming defects, and code refactoring.

The following qualifications are required for this position. Submissions not directly addressing all required skills, as well as those not including the position number, will not be considered.

• One or more years processing XML using XPath and XSLT
• Two or more years using VB.net
• Experience with system design and specification

• Knowledge of the US House of Representatives' XML legislation data model (http://xml.house.gov)
• Knowledge of publishing concepts and terms
