Senior Analyst, Publication Systems
We're looking for a senior analyst and developer to help us in the development and maintenance of maintain document publication systems.
Required Qualifications
The following qualifications are required for this position. Submissions not directly addressing all required skills, as well as those not including the position number, will not be considered.
- Three plus years programming desktop publishing systems
- Ten years plus general progressive programming experience
- Three years plus leading project implementation teams
- Three years plus in programming XML/XMLST
- Experience in mathematical analysis and optimizations of algorithms
- Experience working in the Federal Government environment
- Knowledge of House/Senate legislative procedures
- Experience with system design and specification
- Knowledge of publishing concepts and terms
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in mathematics or computer science
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with the following skills are better positioned for the challenges of the position and will receive additional consideration when we are reviewing applicants.
- Knowledge of the US House of Representatives' XML legislation data model (http://xml.house.gov)
- Knowledge of publishing concepts and terms
